After the succes of Pink Friday and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded Nicki said she will take a step forward with her 3rd studio record described as pure Hip-Hop. She said in a interview with MTV that „is too much to explain about this album” also she said ”is a continuation of The Re-Up and much more”
The lead single of the PinkPrint her 3rd studio record was released in may 2014 , it is called Pills and Potions . And gave us an idea of what the pinkprint can be. A more emotional, more Hip-Hop influenced album and that it was.
Pills and Potions did not had too much comercial succes. It entered in US Top 20.
In August 2014 Anaconda the second single of The PinkPrint was released. The song was a looot different than Pills and Potions and according to Nicki „this is a song about feeling good” .
Anaconda had an erotic message along the music video which have almost 1 billion views on YouTube. The video and the song was criticized a lot by critics and not only. Despite that Anaconda peaked nr.2 on US Hot 100 and had a long chart run.
The music video for "Anaconda" attracted significant controversy and went viral upon release online; it set a 24-hour Vevo record, accumulating 19.6 million views on its first day of release, breaking the record previously held by Miley Cyrus for "Wrecking Ball". In December of that year, Minaj received two Grammy Award nominations, for Best Rap Song ("Anaconda") and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance ("Bang Bang" with Jessie J and Ariana Grande
Also Nicki performed Anaconda/Bang Bang at the MTV VMA`s 2014 . The Bang Bang performance had a wardrobe malfunction. The entire situation was documented by MTV in a documentary called My Time Again.
In November 2014, Minaj released a video containing Nazi-style imagery for her third single "Only". There was immediate backlash from the Anti Defamation League, who stated that it was "troubling that no one among Minaj's group of producers, publicists and managers raised a red flag about the use of such imagery before ushering the video into public release." They called the video "insensitive to Holocaust survivors and a trivialization of the history of that era."Only peaked at 14 on US Hot 100
On December 15, 2015 The Pinkprint was finally released with a more mature sound ,a lot more emotional because of the tracks like All Things Go(My personal favorite) and Pills And Potions.

Debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, with first week sales of 244,000 equivalent units .Upon release, the album received generally positive reviews from critics. Billboard magazine's Niki McGloster called it "her best album to date"
At the 58th Grammy Awards, Minaj received three more Grammy Award nominations, including a second Best Rap Album nomination for The Pinkprint
On November 9, 2014, Minaj hosted the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards She also won the Best Hip-Hop Award for a second time. In March 2015, Minaj embarked on her third world tour entitled The Pinkprint Tour and also became the first female artist to chart four songs simultaneously in the top 10 of Billboard's Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart. At the 2015 BET Awards, Minaj won her sixth consecutive award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, becoming the female rapper with most wins in that category.

In May 2017 Remy Ma released a disstrack to Nicki saying that Nicki don`t respect from female rappers in the industry .Nicki replayed with No Frauds, Regret in your treas and Change it . No Frauds was peaked at 13 on Billboard Hot 100. She performed a medley between Swalla, No Frauds, Regret in your tears and Light My Body Up at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.
Not only Remy Ma spread hate comments about Nicki but a lot of others female rappers.
In 2017 Cardi B was released into the mainstream with Bodak Yellow which became a massive hit over night . After that everybody started to compare Nicki with Cardi and vice versa.

2017 was a hard year for Nicki, her fans and her legacy . Nicki said in a interview in 2018 that she changed her phone number and toke a break from social media and realized that the people that love her the most are the barbs and nobody else.
