Is Justice by Justin Bieber a FLOP? / Album Review

Justin Bieber dropped it’s 6th studio album - Justice, last Friday, March 19, 2021.

The album contains the hits: Holy (feat. Chance The Rapper), Hold On, Lonely (feat. Benny Blanco).

Overall it’s a pop album (a skipless one), with a 2020 inspired sound (that means hello to the ‘80s). The sound it’s actually good, I see improvements from “Changes”.

Let’s jump into the actual album that has songs on it and of course I’ll share my thoughts with you on them.

“Justice” opends up with “2 Much” - such a lovely intro, sweet words, love it, it gives me a chill vibe. After the lovely intro “Deserve You” starts, it’s a catchy radio friendly song with a generic message that I like, the song is actually pretty good.

Track 4 - As I Am (feat. Khalid), Khalid is forgettable on the track, overall all the guest artists are forgettable . Speaking about the song itself: is beautiful, again not the most original message, cute production powerful chorus.

Track 5 - Off My Face. Cute ballad, the sound reminds me of Madison Beer’s “Life Support”, the lyrics are about blessing Haley Bieber with beautiful words. The vocals are pretty decent, the chorus is so sweet.

Track 6 - Holy (feat. Chance The Rapper). I really enjoyed the track when it came out, now I’m bored and sick of it. Chance The Rapper is just bad there. The subject matter is the most original if I can say … so far.

Next track is called “Unstable”, is a sad song about anxiety and how your partner loved you even when you were “unstable”. I think this is related to a real story. The production is very… Purpose era Justin.

The “MILK Interlude” is powerful. Then “Die For You” , one of the best songs on this album, starts playing. The  production is nuts, it’s so beautiful. Justin’s vocals are good, the lyrics don't matter too much. It gives me “Prisoner” by Miley Cyrus. This is one of the best songs from this album.

Hold On is the 2nd best song from this album for me. The lyrics are so tearful, the music video is quality and the production is very “2020 inspired” that means catchy drums on the instrumentals. This is for sure one of Justin’s best songs in years.

Somebody is another “Purpose era Justin” song that I like, the lyrics are…., the production is good, the song is pretty catchy/ radio friendly.

Peaches is such a mood, it’s a standout from this album but at the same time it doesn't fit too well with the rest of it. It’s a song about feeling good, the guest artist is forgettable.

Love You Different sounds like a closure to “Believe era Justin”, it’s very catchy and simple (somehow). A cute track

Loved By You contains some refrences  to Justin’s like. The production is nuts, the ad libs too.The guest artist is  trash.

Anyone is cute.

Lonely is Justin’s best ballad so far, and one of his best songs. Is the best written song from this album, it has references to Justin’s real life and it’s about having everything but no one at the same time. Best song of this album.

This album sounds like Justin’s previous material, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The whole album is about his wife, you should have ears to notice that.

Almost all of these songs are that type of generic songs. I like all of them, of course in different ways .

Album Rating: 8/10
