Grammy's 2021 / The Final Verdict

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards took place March 14th in LA with the social distancing protocol. I have to say that this was definitely the best ceremony in years. I’m really thankful with the winners and the overall show was just watchable…

Let’s start with the performances. Harry Styles opened the show with his nominated song “Watermelon Sugar”. The performance was quite good. Other performances (that I watched) includes: Doja Cat - Say So (pretty good), Dua Lipa - Levitating ft. DaBaby/ Don’t Start Now (the best performance of the night), Megan Thee Stallion - Savage (amazing), Cardi B - Up/WAP (with Megan Thee Stallion) (energetic) also Taylor gave us a performance of cardigan/august/willow - decent, and Billie Eilish blessed us with “Everything I Wanted” - acceptable.

Now let’s jump to the  actual awards.(I’ll share my thoughts only on the Pop Categories that I made predictions back in November).

I’m happy for Dua, Future Nostalgia is for sure Album of the Year 2020 (in my opinion), she truly deserves this, I can see why she got the award instead of Folklore, Future Nostalgia is a POP record Folklore is more Folk/Alternative.

My Prediction was:  Don’t Start Now / Savage Remix

This is the only category that doesn't look really good for me, Everything I wanted is a good song but Don’t Start Now deserves this or even Savage. Anyway it is what it is.

Congrats To Billie !!!

We finally arrived at the conclusion of this ceremony. As I mentioned before this was one of the best ceremonies in years, everyone received something and I think that’s fair. The only artist that didn’t get anything is Doja Cat, she’s amazing but… it is what it is.

I’m glad that Ariana and Gaga won Best Pop Duo Group Performance. The only moment that seems unfair for me is Record of The Year.

Anyway, what do you think about this year’s show, did you love it, did you hate it? Tell Me in the comments section below, see you sometimes in the  future bye.
