Why Grammy 2021 didn't flopped l Predictions & Reactions

 The nominations for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards finally arrived Tuesday. And I got to say - This year is a good one . The nominees this year are better than last year`s but The recording academy wouldn't be the recording academy if it didn't drag someone down, but we'll talk about that later.

So, The Nominees  Are:

8. Best Pop Vocal Album
For albums containing at least 51% playing time of new pop vocal recordings.

We have an impostor there - Justin Bieber. I don't know why this was nominated for a category like this but it have 0 chances to win. And are a lot of GOOD ALBUMS released in 2020, which deserves to be there (like After Hours).

If we'll make abstraction  of Changes, the nominations are really good. I'm glad to see Chromatica, Future Nostalgia and Folklore there. I really want Future Nostalgia to win, but Folklore was really loved by critics. I don`t think so Chromatica will win.

My prediction: Future Nostalgia, Folklore.

6. Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
For new vocal or instrumental duo/group or collaborative pop recordings. Singles or Tracks only.

This category have two impostors - UN DIA and Intentions. Now I'll pretend that those are not there and let's continue with the rest. I think exile or even Rain On Me can win. But exile is such a good ballad and Rain On Me such a good Dance Recording. I`m glad to see Dynamite  there too, BTS deserves that.

Prediction: Exile, Rain On Me.

5. Best Pop Solo Performance
For new vocal or instrumental pop recordings. Singles or Tracks only

So here we have Justin the impostor again - trash him out. And (without it) we got a very strong competition. Say So, Don't Start Now and Cardigan have very big chances to win . I think if Taylor will win Album of  The Year, Cardigan will win this, but if Dua will win Album of the year - Don't Start Now will win.

Prediction: Don't Start Now, cardigan.

4. Best New Artist
This category recognizes an artist whose eligibility-year release(s) achieved a breakthrough into the public consciousness and notably impacted the musical landscape.

I don't know 5/8 artist from this category, and I think they was nominated for decoration. The real nominees there are Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion. And Megan Will win. Megan have the presence, personality and the most important the music. Doja had a great year too but Megan is just better.

Some people are saying that this category sounds sad. I don't think so. I think every single song from here can win. But the highlights are - Black Parade, Don't Start Now, Cardigan.

My personal favorite is Don't Start Now, but all of these songs have big chances to because of their success or message that they'll delivering.

This is a very good category. I think Black Parade, Say So, Savage and Don't Start Now are most likely to win. 

My prediction: Don't Start Now, Savage

Snubs

A lot of people said that people like Selena Gomez and The Weekend deserves a Grammy nomination, but they don't have it.

In  my opinion The Weekend deserved some nominations in The Big Four and the pop categories, After Hours is a good record and Blinding Lights is the biggest hit of the year

I feel like if we will replace every Justin Bieber nod with a The Weekend the 2021 Grammy's will have more sense.

Also The Weekend was snubbed because he refused to perform at the show.

Other artists that deserves recognition - Rina Sawayama and Halsey.
